Over 20 Years as a Local Affiliate of IAFF
1991- First Career Paramedics hired in Fauquier County
With the increasing need for service in the community Fauquier County hired 3 Paramedics to respond to incidents.
1997- Charter created and IAFF L3762 Established as an affiliate
Charter Members of Local 3762 include Darren Stevens, Craig Evans, Justin R. Clayton, Phillip T. Myer, and Tommy Norris Jr.
Today, Local 3762 represents 71 Professional Career FireFighters in Fauquier County. We work to continually improve working conditions, provide input on committees for safety, raise awareness in the community, and serve as active members of the community. The men and women serving in Fauquier are committed to providing the highest level of service to the citizens of the community and are always working to improve service delivery.
Local 3762 is also active in pursuing legislation to increase Mental Health Awareness, Cancer Presumption Laws, and retirement investments for its members.
